Computer Freezes
Well in the past month I guess I've been having problems with GW freezing my computer. I haven't had trouble with any other program or game and it always occurs when GW is running, in the foreground, and Im actually using it. This implies that I run multiple things at once but normally its only AIM and in the past this has never caused a problem.
The freeze itself is strange (to me at leas) because every time it freezes I get this constant audio loop. Its basically a buzzing noise combined with a click that pulses in and out until I hard restart the computer. After it happened a few times I uninstalled GW and then reinstalled it...downloading all the updates was a big pain and that worked for about 2 weeks. I didn't see a single freeze. In this past week though it has started freezing again. I haven't noticed any particular pattern as to what action causes the freeze though. Any help? |

Try the -nosound switch as it may be related to audio drivers or hardware.
